How to Migrate OLM Emails to Outlook PST File

We have two kind of user one using Mac Outlook and others relying on Outlook for Windows. Both of Outlook works same but their formats are not same. Both the email client find enormous use at corporate and project level. Both the email system has their native data storage. As it is they stores data in different storage capacity. This is need for migration from OLM to PST to access to one outlook into another one. In the manual process you have to cover some main steps such as system an IMAP account, Add IMAP mail account to Outlook for Mac, create Gmail label, and at last move emails from Mac Outlook to IMAP mailbox. Let see at the below, how to do that.

Add IMAP mail account to Mac Outlook

• First, open Outlook for Mac.
• Click on Menu >>Tools >>Accounts.
• Click on Email. Here, enter an email address, password and other information in the empty fields. Click on Add Account.
• Once the above process complete then check the IMAP mail account.

Transferred emails from Mac Outlook to IMAP mailbox.

• Open Mac Outlook.
• Right click on mailbox item which you want to transfer to Windows Outlook
• Select Move >> Copy to Folder.
• Type the name of your IMAP folder and click on Copy.
• Click on Send/Receive or refresh the folder on MS Outlook  to update the mailbox. Do this process, after completion of the above process.
• Now all the copied mailbox data have been synchronized to the IMAP mailbox folder.

Manual technique does not maintain the integrity both the file. OLM to PST conversion with manual procedure poses a lot of drawbacks.
